My 11 yr old daughter has just left for a five day field trip with her class. After waving her off I came to the studio and coincidentally found this sketch from the picture book Two By Two and a Half. A coincidence because the inspiration for this story came when I volunteered as a parent helper on a school day trip when my daughter was five. I was allocated four children to care for. It was a nightmare. (But in a nice way).

The idea for the book evolved from a walk in the woods to a journey exploring all the senses. The drawing of teacher, Miss Moo Hoo, was from personal experience. My primary school teacher looked just like her. But without the antlers, obviously.
